|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day Third of the month, repeating until August 31, 2023

10am-noon / 1225 Pepper Street / San Luis Obispo / or by Zoom here.

The San Luis Obispo Bodhi Path Center will gather in person to host the West Coast presentation of the online teachings by Khaydroup Zangmo. Each session begins with 20 minutes of group meditation. We’ll host this short group meditation at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) followed by Khaydroup’s live streamed teaching at 10:30. Use the link below to join the ZOOM meeting. Please contact us at slo@bodhipath.org if you have any questions.

Buddha Śākyamuni gave the teaching of the Samantabhadra Wishing Prayer to urge practitioners to treat the great Bodhisattva Samantabhadra as a role model to emulate in order that all their noble wishes be accomplished. By practicing the Noble King of Prayers of Excellent Conduct we can tap into the power of the wish-fulfilling accomplishments of great bodhisattvas, such as Samantabhadra, who already have mastered the pāramitās and who are therefore able to bestow the blessings of their accomplishments.

Dates: Khaydroup will teach on the 3rd Sunday of most months.

Time: 10 AM to 12 PM. All are welcome to join us in person or via Zoom. Questions are encouraged and can be asked directly or entered into the Zoom chat box.
