San Luis Obispo Meditation and Dharma Discourse — The Path to Awakening

On the first Sunday of every month, we gather in person for group meditation and dharma discussion. We are currently working with The Path to Awakening: A Commentary on Ja Chekawa Yeshé Dorjé’s Seven Points of Mind Training, written by our founder, Shamar Rinpoche, as a core curriculum for the Bodhi Path Centers. The Path to Awakening serves as a guidebook to the stages of Mind Training and is appropriate for students at all levels. The Lojong teachings presented follow in the tradition of Gampopa (1079-1153) who joined the Kadampa instructions of Atisha with Mahamudra teachings from the tradition of the great Indian Mahasiddha Saraha.
