Gampopa was the fifth of the Five Founding Masters of the Kagyu lineage and the teacher of the first Karmapa. This December and January San Luis Obispo’s part-year resident teacher Dharma Mitra (known as Khenpo Tsering by students around the globe) will teach on the Four Dharmas of Gampopa, the lineage master’s most famous teaching.
