We are happy to welcome Karma Trinlay Rinpoche, who is here on Martha’s Vineyard with his family to teach, lead meditation, and participate in two community events. Here’s the schedule: Meditation is the Core Practice – Saturday and Sunday August 16 and 17 10-11:30 am. All teachings will be offered in person at Bodhi Path in West Tisbury and online via Zoom. On Sunday, August 17 4-5:30 pm Bodhi Path MV is excited to join the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in presenting The Whole Table: A Dialogue on Food, Care and Community, a panel discussion about understanding the choices we make around food and the values that shape them. The panel features Trinlay Rinpoche, a highly accomplished Buddhist teacher who is dedicated to the compassionate treatment of animals, Dr. Shelley Edmundson, Executive Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Preservation Trust, Chef Nemo Bolin, known for his creative, seasonal cuisine rooted in sustainability and Taylor Smalley, a Wampanoag food and foraging expert.
