San Luis Obispo’s part-year resident teacher Dharma Mitra (known as Khenpo Tsering by students around the globe) returned to California in August 2020 and began teaching twice monthly. He has been teaching monthly from sources such as Shantideva’s beloved text The Way of the Bodhisattva,  Mahamudra: The Moonlight – Quintessence of Mind and Meditation by Dakpo Tashi Namgyal, and the Heart Sutra, a profound teaching on emptiness that is one of the foundations of Mahayana Buddhism. We are fortunate for the opportunity to study classic texts with an authentic Buddhist scholar like Khenpo.

For this session, Khenpo Tsering will be focusing on the Heart Sutra Teachings.

Dates: Khenpo will teach on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, with the occasional 5th Sunday added. Please contact us at slo@bodhipath.org if you have any questions.
