The Times they are A-changing: Adversity as Opportunity for Transformation and Awakening (DC Metro Center)

Lama Tsony will lead an in-person talk, also being made available online, on working with our mind and experiences during challenging times, which are an opportunity for advancing spiritual growth and for helping others in the world around us.

He will draw key points from Shamar Rinpoche’s book “The Path to Awakening,” and the third point discussed therein, “Convert Adversities into the Path.”  Tsony will also provide opportunity for discussion on how we relate to these times and insight into the essence of the teaching.

Background:

Tsony is the resident teacher of Bodhi Path Natural Bridge retreat center. He has been teaching at

Bodhi Path since 1999, many of those years under the spiritual guidance of the late 14th Shamarpa.

In 2005 he began transferring formal responsibilities at the Kundreul Ling community, to nurture growing Bodhi Path projects in the EU/US.
