Losar: Tibetan New Year Celebration (Potluck)

Join us at the Bodhipath Santa Barbara as we welcome the Tibetan New Year with joy, reflection, and community!

Losar, the Tibetan New Year, is a time of renewal and spiritual cleansing, marking the beginning of a new cycle with prayers, festivities, and gratitude. This year, we invite you to celebrate this auspicious occasion with us with a community potluck gathering at our beautiful center in La Cumbre Plaza.

  • 5: 30 pm Door open
  • 6 pm  Prayer celebration in shrine room -brief introduction and background of Losar and Samantabhadra Wishing Prayer (offered online and in-person)
  • potluck to follow in social hall until 8 pm. It is an in-person vegetarian potluck, bring your favorite dish!
