November 14-18, 2024
Join renowned Dharma teacher Dawa Tarchin Phillips for a transformative retreat focused on awakened living and embracing the realities of death and dying. This immersive experience offers profound insights into living mindfully and compassionately, while navigating life’s inevitable transitions with grace.
Through meditation practice, teachings on the view, meditation and action for the moment of death, deep reflection, and open dialogue, participants will explore the art of being fully present, living with purpose, and cultivating inner peace in the face of impermanence. The retreat provides a safe, nurturing space for personal growth, healing, and fostering a deeper connection with the cycle of life, empowering you to live with greater intention and serenity.
This non-residential retreat will be held in-person at our Center at La Cumbre Plaza, 3815 State Street Suite G129, Santa Barbara, CA, and online for those who want to join from home.
It will begin on Thursday night, November 14th from 7-9pm and will conclude on Monday, the 18th at 12 noon. Friday-Sunday will include teachings, group practice from 9am-12pm and 3pm-6pm with time for meals and individual practice. The center will be open in between sessions for individual practice. Retreatants are welcome to bring a sack lunch, dine at home or at a nearby restaurant. We will have menus of some local eateries at the center to order from if needed. Bodhi Path will provide coffee, tea and snacks.
Please note that this is a non-residential retreat. This registration does not include lodging if you are traveling from out of the area. If you are attending online, you will receive a zoom link the day before the retreat begins. Registration fees are not refundable once the retreat begins. 
 
It will be very helpful to our planning if you register before November 7th. Registration closes on November 13th.

Dawa Tarchin Phillips Dawa Tarchin Phillips is the resident teacher of Bodhi Path Santa Barbara. Having completed two three-year meditation retreats within the Vajrayana and Mahayana tradition, he is a masterful Dharma teacher, global spiritual leader and well-known mindfulness and meditation expert.
