Meditation Garden
The Meditation Garden is a project to develop the natural area behind the Dhagpo Kagyu Ling Institute. This space offers a calm outside space that lends itself to meditation practice.
In addition to the great stupa of Shamar Rinpoche that has now been completed, the garden welcomes various new spaces: eight stupas, a large prayer wheel, and a circumambulation path connecting all of Dhagpo’s stupas.
Resource For Practice
The Stupa of Enlightenment is available for circumambulation outside. A mantra practice can be recited while circumambulating the stupa. For your convenience, you may download the mantra card.

Improvements are ongoing to create a practice environment worthy of the simple beauty and grace of our stupa. The addition and refinement of walkways, benches, traditional Tibetan prayer wheels, and plantings of grass, flowers, and trees will invite visitors to enjoy the stupa and inspire them to find their own best selves by its side.
Donations for this project may go to Wisdom Foundation, the U.S. 501(c)(3) non profit organization that supports Bodhi Path Buddhist Centers, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donations can be made with a memo “Virginia Stupa of Enlightenment” online or by check. Checks should be made to Wisdom Foundation, and mailed to 12 Bodhi Path, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.
