Tina Draszczyk

Dr. Tina Draszczyk is a German Tibetologist, Interpreter, and Mindfulness Trainer. Dr. Draszczyk has been practicing for more than 40 years in the Karma Kagyu tradition. She completed her profound Buddhist studies with both a PhD degree from Vienna University and the degree of an Acharya (Scholar) from the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (K.I.B.I.) in New Delhi, India. Tina serves as an interpreter at K.I.B.I. and Buddhist Centers in Europe. For many years Tina served as one of the interpreters for the late Shamar Rinpoche. Dr. Draszczyk teaches in the Karma Kagyü Center in Vienna and other Buddhist centers in Europe. Her Buddhist studies focus on research in the fields of Mahamudra, Madhyamaka, and meditation.
