Rachel Parrish

Rachel Parrish was born in Madison, WI and grew up in the Midwestern United States. After finishing university with degrees in English, Chemistry, and Art History, she traveled to Europe, eventually discovering the Dharma at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in France. She completed two traditional three-year retreats in Kundreul Ling, which was established by the great meditation master Gendun Rinpoche, and followed that with a one-year solitary retreat in Dhagpo. Rachel is now based at the Bodhi Path Buddhist Center in Chicago, and frequently teaches in other centers in the US and Canada.
