Dongsang Shabdrung Rinpoche

The 4th Dongsang Shabdrung Rinpoche, known for his extensive knowledge, was recognized as an emanation of Sangye Yeshe (832 – 902), one of the 25 heart disciples of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche).

He belongs to the Sakyapa lineage, but he has also received transmissions from some of the most important masters from different schools, such as Thaye Dorje, HH the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa.

His teachers included His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Currently, Rinpoche is the main teacher in the Dongtsang monastery in China. His impressive teachings inspire as a result of his special clarity and his joyful attitude.
