Join us for a special exploration of the Six Pāramitās, or the Six Perfections, as illuminated by the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. This is a two part course on consecutive Thursdays
The Six Pāramitās — generosity, discipline, patience, joyful effort, meditation, and wisdom — are the heart of the Bodhisattva path. They are timeless practices that transform everyday actions into the path of awakening. In the Kagyu tradition, these perfections are not seen as rigid obligations, but as profound expressions of innate Buddha nature, accessible to each of us through sincere practice.
During this teaching, we will:
Deepen our understanding of each pāramitā
Explore practical ways to apply them in daily life
Reflect on how the perfections naturally arise as our meditation deepens
Connect the Six Pāramitās to the Mahamudra view of mind’s true nature
Whether you are new to Buddhist practice or have been walking the path for some time, this teaching offers a meaningful opportunity to enrich your journey with inspiration, insight, and skillful means.
All are warmly welcome.
This is a two part series on Thursday (June 12 and June 19)
