Calm Abiding meditation is a foundational practice that cultivates mental stability and focused attention, typically by maintaining awareness on a single object like the breath. It serves as a cornerstone for more advanced contemplative practices and has been shown to reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation, and improve concentration. By training the mind to rest in the present moment, Calm Abiding meditation fosters a sense of inner peace and clarity, providing practitioners with a valuable tool for navigating the challenges of daily life. This will be a class taught by Bodhi Path Teaching Assistants.
