Bodhi Path teacher and author Lama Jigme Rinpoche will visit the Natural Bridge Center and lead sessions about compassion, as discussed in Buddhism, and applying it in daily life. All are welcome.

Biography:
Lama Jigme Rinpoche is an author and teacher in the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in 1949 in Kham, Tibet into the family of Rangjung Rigpa Dorje, the 16th Karmapa, he is the brother of the late 14th Shamar Rinpoche, Mipham Chokyi Lodro. Lama Jigme Rinpoche has played a significant role in ushering Tibetan Buddhism to the West, and he travels globally to provide Buddhist teachings. His books on Buddhism include The Handbook of Ordinary Heroes: The Bodhisattavas’ Way; A Path of Wisdom; and Working with the Emotions. At the request of the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje, Jigme Rinpoche is now taking care of various learning institutions of the Karma Kagyu lineage worldwide, including projects of the 14th Shamar Rinpoche such as Bodhi Path Buddhist Centers, Sharminub Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal and Shri Diwakar Buddhist Academy in Kalimpong, India.
