Lama Dawa Tarchin. Born in New York City, Lama Dawa Tarchin grew up in a multicultural family in Europe and speaks English, German and French fluently. In his early twenties, Dawa became the student of the great Mahamudra master Gendun Rinpoche at Dhagpo Kundreul Ling Monastery in France. There, he was ordained as Buddhist monk and completed two 3-year meditation retreat where he received the transmission of the Karma Kagyu Lineage. Prior to embarking on a spiritual journey, Lama Dawa pursued advanced studies in the arts, a career in the entertainment industry and worked with severely ill cancer and cardiac patients. Today, he teaches throughout Europe and the United States, offering guidence to those on the spiritual path.
