The new Bodhi Path Center in Germany (located near Strasbourg, France) will be the main seat of H.H. Shamar Rinpoche in Europe. It is located between Strasbourg in the west, Offenburg in the south, Baden-Baden in the north and the northern Black forest in the east. The surrounding area offers a mild climate and a beautiful landscape with rolling hills, vineyards and many fruit trees.

The center launched March, 5th, 2006 with teachings given by Jigme Rinpoche, who visits regularly. Khenpo Tsering and Lama Yeshe Drölma have also given teachings at the center.

The highlight of the summer will be a series of teachings given by H.H. Shamar Rinpoche each weekend in July. Rinpoche's teachings will be on the Mönlam wishing prayer of Samanthabadra and on the practise of the 35 Buddhas.
