His Holiness Shamar Rinpoche founded the Martha's Vineyard Bodhi Path in 1999. The center is located in West Tisbury and our meditation hall which is a few miles from the beach in a quiet, wooded area, provides a comfortable space for group and individual dharma activity. The center offers meditation sessions and instruction, teachings, a discussion group and one day retreats. There is a lama in residence from time to time as well as numerous visiting teachers throughout the year. Beginners and advanced practitioners are welcome to attend.
