About Jigme Rinpoche's Teaching Program:
The Buddha’s teachings offer a method for understanding how to be and how to act―in other words, how to live our humanity while taking care of ourselves and others. Jigme Rinpoche will share insights into the bodhisattva path, which can be followed by ordinary people who choose to develop as individuals through their understanding and application of kindness and compassion. The bodhisattva's wish is for all beings to meet with lasting happiness and to experience relief from the causes of unhappiness.

Followed by Meditation Retreat Program
(July 19-22, 2021):

This meditation retreat will include teachings by Bodhi Path Teacher Trinlay Rinpoche, support from Bodhi Path Dharma teachers, and a full schedule of practice sessions.

About the Meditation Retreat Program:
Trinlay Rinpoche will lead these retreat days. The theme will be lojong, which is Tibetan for "mind training," a comprehensive practice that is suitable for all types of students. It contains the entire path and does not depend on a person's background. Mind Training nurses and cultivates the Buddha Nature, that pure seed of awakening that is at the very heart of every sentient being. It has the power to transform even egotistical self-clinging into self-lessness.

Brief Bios of the Featured Teachers:

Jigme Rinpoche:
Born in Tibet in 1949, Lama Jigme Rinpoche grew up and received his education with the principal teachers of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The Sixteenth Karmapa named Lama Jigme Rinpoche as his official representative and the spiritual director of Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in France. Ever since, Lama Jigme Rinpoche has filled this role and has taught Dharma worldwide, including regularly at Bodhi Path centers. Strengthened by decades of experience in the West, his unique and modern approach renders the Buddha’s millennia-old wisdom accessible and allows students to apply it concretely in daily 21st century life.

Trinlay Rinpoche:
Karma Trinlay Rinpoche, born of French and American parents, is one of the first Westerners to be recognized as a Tulku by H.H. the late 16th Karmapa. Karma Trinlay Rinpoche has received all the important transmissions of Buddhism, as well as completed both traditional Buddhist and Western academic studies in the fields of philosophy and history. Fluent in English, French, and Tibetan, Rinpoche maintains a regular teaching schedule at Buddhist Centers worldwide and online, including programs for the Bodhi Path network of centers. Karma Trinlay Rinpoche is a genuine bridge between the East and the West, the traditional and the modern.
